We are licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies and can offer two romantic ceremony rooms, the Reading Room which opens on to the inner courtyard garden where in summer months champagne can be served to your guests around the fountain or the Penthouse Suite, a beautifully appointed room over looking the estuary. Whatever the size of your wedding we can accommodate you, from 10 people dining in candlelight in the Aviary Room to 250 seated in the Venetian Ballroom complete with oak dance floor.

Weddings in North Devon are increasingly popular due to the wide range of activities to offer your guests during their stay. If you and your friends and family have travelled a long way for the big day why not make a weekend of it and try out Surfing, Coasteering, Falconry, Archery, or for the less adventurous visit the nearby attractions of Dartington Crystal, RHS Rosemoor or The Big Sheep and Milky Way adventure parks and farm for those with young children.

Stay in style in our Double Jacuzzi or Romantic Four Poster suites and let our AA rosette Chef create an individual menu for you and your guests using the freshest, locally sourced ingredients. Let us create your bespoke wedding for you, our Chef will provide a selection of menus for you to choose from, if you have a particularly favourite dish let us know so we can incorporate it into your chosen meal.
