Fresh flowers, fine wines and a AA rosette Chef cooking all dishes to order from locally sourced suppliers using Devon's finest produce completes this dining experience.

All of our dishes from the bar menu serving simpler, easy eating, lighter meals to our well balanced, gourmet a la carte menu are all produced from scratch by our team of talented Chefs, all dishes are cooked to order, maximising their individual flavours and freshness. Menus change with the seasons to take advantage of what is best and local to us at any given time of the year. Our Head Chef's signature dish for Spring is Trio of Salmon, Hot Smoked, Confitted and Marinated with Pea Puree, Leek &Potato Rosti, Baby Fennel and a Beurre Blanc. The Durrant House Hotel in North Devon can also provide private dining rooms in addition to the Olive Tree Restaurant and Appledore Bar. We can cater from four to two hundred and fifty people dining, from the tasteful Aviary Room adjoining the main restaurant to our magnificent Venetian Ballroom, bespoke menus and matched wines can be provided on request.
